Teaming to Defeat Hunger! WORK as a team; LEARN as a team; GIVE as a team! RG Miller | DCCM, Kirksey Architecture, and Turner Construction understood the assignment and accepted the challenge! Teaming up in the fight against hunger, this group participated in CANstruction Houston’s 2025 Competition & Exhibition, a city-wide effort to raise awareness and provide nutritional food items that serve the Houston Food Bank. On “Build Day’ volunteers from these organizations came together to create a CAN-sculpture of “Super Mario Dinner Party.” With a passion for design build and a spirit of giving back, this group used a variety of nearly 7,000 can good items to create game scene which displayed “Mario, Nintendo’s iconic mustachioed hero, hosting a giant dinner party in the Mushroom Kingdom & everyone is invited…” Join us in congratulating this team of volunteers, and their organizations, on a JOB WELL DONE! additional articles November 24, 2025 Teaming to Defeat Hunger! 11th Annual WEAT Southeast Texas Section 2025 Clay Shoot! Last Friday, our DCCM team joined the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) Southeast Texas Section for the annual Scholarship Clay Shoot — an event dedicated to raising funds for students pursuing careers in water and environmental fields. 💧 We’re proud to support this great cause and stand alongside so many passionate professionals who care deeply about the future of our industry. Team DCCM Takes 2nd Place! Team Work was the goal — RG Miller | DCCM and MillerSurvey | DCCM were up for the challenge at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Texas Section, Houston Branch’s Fall Volleyball Fundraiser Tournament.  Three DCCM teams were registered as staff showed their support by coming together with other local organizations in support of this event. Kicking Off the College Football Season with Color Day 2025 Fun! Football isn’t just a game in Texas: At Texas A&M University, football is a way of life and tailgating is an all-day affair! RG Miller | DCCM recently spent the day in #Aggieland hosting its annual Tailgate & Game Watch Party, while enjoying the Game Day festivities.  The #Aggies certainly did not disappoint their fans with a win against the Gators…  A&M fans were in high spirits as everyone enjoyed great food, raffle prizes, and a special birthday celebration.  We truly appreciate our elected and public officials, clients, and guests for coming out to spend the day with us in support of the Home Team.  We look forward to seeing you next year! additional articles November 7, 2025 HOWDY! Kicking Off the College Football Season with Color Day 2025 Fun! Marked by a display of enthusiasm and intense passion for the game, employees at RG Miller | DCCM kick off the college football season with Color Day 2025!  Celebrating their school and displaying their team spirit, these die-hard fans proudly sport the colors of their favorite team.  We want to wish all the college teams and their fans a safe and successful football season.  Here are some fun facts about college football, you may not know: The record for longest winning streak in college football is held by The University of Oklahoma. The team won 47 consecutive games from 1953 to 1957. Impressive! The college football record for longest field goal ever kicked is held by Ove Johannson, who kicked a 69-yard field goal in 1976. The shortest Division I college football player is Jayson Carter from Rice University who stands at 4-foot, 9-inches.  You’ve heard of the Rose Bowl and the Orange Bowl, but in the 1940’s other bowl games included the Raisin Bowl, Salad Bowl, and Oil Bowl. The college football team with the most wins in history? The University of Michigan. Go Wolverines!  The college football team with the most championship wins? Yale. Go Bulldogs! Followed closely by The University of Alabama. Roll Tide!  Louisiana State University mascot, Mike the Tiger, lives in a sanctuary behind Tiger Stadium. They move his cage near the visiting team’s locker room for home games to intimidate visiting players.  The colors orange and white were chosen to be the official colors of the Tennessee Volunteers because of the daisies that grow on the Knoxville campus. The largest college football stadium in the U.S. is Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
