Energy Center I and II

Energy Center I and II Houston,TX Located within Houston’s Engergy corridor, the 638,000 square foot Energy Center I and II are the 2009 Green Project Landmark Award winner. With both buildings being fully LEED Certified, civil design took on a more in depth approach. This project consisted of several permitting procedures with the City of Houston, TxDOT and other local governing agencies. Design consisted of water, sanitary, storm sewer subsurface design, as well as Storm Water Quality feature that reduced the amount of pollutants to enter the City’s public systems. A public bike trail and a pedestrian friendly sidewalk was also designed with in the perimeter of the Energy Center campus to provide easy access for the residents wihtin the surrounding areas.  

Heights Medical Office Building

Texas Clinic at Prestonwood

Texas Clinic at Prestonwood Plano,TX Texas Clinic at Prestonwood is a two-story, 62,250-linear-foot medical office building with radiation vaults located at the northwest corner of Plano Parkway and Marsh Lane in Plano, Texas.  

Centennial Park, Phase II and Trail Expansion

Centennial Park, Phase II and Trail Expansion Pearland,TX This project involves the civil work of a 100 space parking lot, waterline, wastewater line, drainage and detention necessary for the existing Centennial Park in the City of Pearland to expand to include two new softball fields and restrooms. The Trail Expansion work will involve a mid-block pedestrian crossing on Veterans Drive. Project is currently under design with an Opinion of Probable Construction cost estimate of $350,000  

Village School

Village School Houston,TX The Village school is a coeducational non-denominational college preparatory private school for grades Pre-K through High School. The Village School provides a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges its students to be critical thinkers and life-long learners in a supportive and nurturing environment. Village High School offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma program and boarding opportunities through the Meritas Elite Boarding Program. Students at all grade levels participate in competitive athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities. Located in the energy corridor of Houston, Texas, The Village School has an international student body, with students representing six continents and over forty countries. RG Miller | DCCM assisted with all Civil Engineering associated with 2 dorm buildings, the new Highschool building and the current ongoing construction of the Highschool expansion phase 2. RG Miller | DCCM designed all water, storm and sanitary sewer systems associated with these buildings as well as a Regulation completion Football and practice field for the students. RG Miller | DCCM is currently in the design phase of the Gymnasium and parking associates with the gym and practice fields. RGM is currently on the 3rd phase of a total of five phases of Civil Engineering design.

Goddard School

Goddard School Katy, TX With more familes choosing to have both spouses work full-time during the week, there has been a higher demand for day care centers throughout the nation. At the Goddard School, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace in a nurturing environment supported by a team of dedicated teachers. The program enhances children’s emotional, social, intellectual and physical development and provides the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. RG Miller | DCCM provided civil design for these schools that included paving, drainage, detention, storm water quality, pollution prevention and underground utilities. We also worked closely with the City of Tomball, Municipal Utility Districts, Harris County Flood Control, and other local governing agencies in order to provide all needed approvals to begin construction.

Bayou Oaks – University of Houston

Bayou Oaks – University of Houston Houston, TX Student housing project located adjacent to the University of Houston. The development project consisted of design engineering services for floodplain mitigation, concrete paving, storm sewers, sanitary sewers and water lines. Landscaped areas were designed for floodplain mitigation and detention. Student bus-stop and shelter was provided within the right-of-way.

Pro-Vision School

Pro-Vision School Houston, TX RG Miller | DCCM was retained by Pro-Vision School to provide civil design services for development of their new campus and athletic facilities. Pro-Vision School is a charter school that addresses the needs of young men who are at risk. The 21 acre campus includes a middle school, high school, football field, tract and urban farm all of which were part of the civil design scope. We at RG Miller | DCCM are proud of our involvement with this noble endeavor.
