Shadowlake Subdivision

Shadowlake Subdivision Houston, TX This project consists of 400-acres located within the City of Houston on the south side of Westheimer Road, extending to Alief-Clodine Road and between Dairy Ashford and Old Westheimer Road.  RG Miller | DCCM was responsible for approximately 900 single-family lots and commercial and multi-family development, drainage improvements including a 75 acre floodplain mitigation and storm water detention basin, Brays Bayou improvements and two HCFCD lateral channels, over 1 million cubic yards of earthwork was performed throughout the project development, including the design and construction of Westpark Drive and the extension of Shadowbriar Drive from Westheimer Road to Richmond Avenue.

Villages of Cypress Lakes

Villages of Cypress Lakes Cypress, TX The Villages of Cypress Lakes (“VCL”) Subdivision is an 850-acre master-planned community located within Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 391. RG Miller | DCCM has been involved since project inception including feasibility studies, master drainage plan and district creation. VCL is primarily a single-family residential development consisting of multiple large detention/lake amenity basins, multiple recreation centers, a wastewater treatment plant facility and a water plant facility. The VCL development surrounds a beautiful public golf course and incorporates different types and sizes of houses. At full build out, approximately 2,600 homes are planned.

Windermere Lakes

Windermere Lakes Houston, TX Windermere Lakes is a 130-acre subdivision consisting of 14 streets including the main collector street, Windermere Lakes Boulevard, that has a traffic signal at FM 1960. The project included all associated water lines, sanitary sewers and storm sewers, as well as the construction of four lakes that also act as detention basins and a 4,000 square foot recreation center.

Canyon Gate & Canyon Lakes at the Brazos/Lakes of Williams Ranch

Canyon Gate & Canyon Lakes at the Brazos/Lakes of Williams Ranch Richmond, TX All located within Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 116, Canyon Gate at the Brazos, Canyon Lakes at the Brazos and Lakes of Williams Ranch (a gated estate community) are part of a 750-acre planned community consisting of 1,520 lots and commercial reserves along both U.S. Hwy 59 and S.H. 99. RG Miller | DCCM’s design on the project involved a master dirt management plan, drainage facilities including several detention basins, lake amenity basins and drainage channels. Also included were both Grand Parkway and Texas Department of Transportation (“TxDOT”) coordination, a bridge over Rabbs Bayou, traffic signalization, lift stations, wastewater treatment plant facilities including water and wastewater regionalization with the City of Richmond, wetlands coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineering and eighteen single-family residential sections.

Northwest Harris County MUD No. 15

Northwest Harris County MUD No. 15 Houston, TX The Northpointe Regional plant is a 2.6 million gallon waste water plant serving five separate Utility Districts with a projected population of 35,000. The Phase II plant added an additional 72-foot diameter concrete clarifier and was bid for 2.6 million dollars and included new digester capacity and lift station upgrades.

Lakeville

Lakeville Houston, TX Lakeville is a 110-acre subdivision consisting of 741 lots in seven sections. Lakeville is located on Fry Road between FM 529 and West Little York, within Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 105. The subdivision is a single-family residential development consisting of a combination of public and private streets as well as twenty foot private alleys. The concept behind the development focuses around neighbor interaction with parks and walkways throughout the community. The concept is similar to the Traditional Neighborhood Design proposed in other major cities across the country. The majority of the homes face a shared greenbelt area with the garages and alleys at the rear of the lot, which eliminates the clutter of cars as you walk out the front door. The Lakeville concept has gained publicity most recently in receiving the Houston Business Journal Landmark Award for Best Residential Project – Single Family (2004).

Northwest Harris County MUD No. 15

Northwest Harris County MUD No. 15 Houston, TX Northwest Harris County MUD Constructed a new water plant for 3.2 million. The construction included a 680 KW natural gas generator, a 1000 GPM well, and 2 500,000 gallon storage tanks. The plant is positioned to be the main receiving plant for the future delivery of surface water from the City of Houston. The plant includes a gas separator that fully removes methane gas from the system.

Bridgeland – Lakeland Heights

Bridgeland – Lakeland Heights Cypress, TX Lakeland Heights is a classic Houston neighborhood style similar to the Heights and West University Place. It was designed as a small town with a Village Center and has 350 lots. Lot sizes range from 30′ to 80′ with private alleys at the rear

Lake Shore Harbour

Lake Shore Harbour Missouri City, TX Lake Shore Harbour is a 270-acre master planned single-family community located in Missouri City and partially within the Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 47.  The ultimate development will include more than 800 home sites, with the majority being waterfront lots.  This project included the design of multiple lake amenity/detention basins and eight residential sections.  

Del Webb The Woodlands

Del Webb The Woodlands Houston, TX Del Webb-The Woodlands is a 200-acre residential community for active adults 55 years of age and older developed by Pulte Homes. RG Miller | DCCM designed all of the underground utilities, paving and three amenity ponds for stormwater detention for this project.
