Village Plaza at Bunker Hill Houston, TX This 45 acre site is located at the intersection of I-10 and Bunker Hill Road that includes a 130,000 SF HEB, Petsmart, Academy, Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us, Bank of America and several franchises.  Services included paving, drainage, detention (via depression of parking lots), storm water quality and underground utilities to serve each individual tenant.  Close coordination with TxDOT, the City of Houston and Harris County Flood Control District was also necessary.  

Shops at Bella Terra

Shops at Bella Terra Katy, TX This 50 acre site for multiple retailers is located in Fort Bend County, Texas. Services included multi-phased development, design of public infrastructure, roadways and a bridge, as well as on-site private infrastructure.  

Grand Crossing

Grand Crossing Katy, TX Grand Crossing is a 123 acre site located on the southwest corner of the Grand Parkway and IH-10. The tract is a mixed use development consisting of the current Costco development and future office, retail, restaurant, and multifamily uses. RG Miller | DCCM designed all of the public streets systems and designed two large amenity/detention facilities that serve as both detention and a public amenity that will be complete with parks and walking trails that surround the lakes. Grand Crossing will be known as a landmark similar to the La Centerra shopping center south of this location in Cinco Ranch. The development will serve as a meeting place for shopping, dining, recreation, work place and residency. RG Miller | DCCM is currently on the 3rd phase of a total of 5 phases that ultimately will include the Costco, multiple restaurants along the Interstate 10 feeder and Grand Parkway, Office complex with parking garage, High end luxury Apartment homes and parks and lakes within the detention reserve areas. The tract falls within the Cimarron MUD and will be receiving reimbursement on the public utilities via the next bond package produced by the MUD. Cobia drive will connect the Current I-10 feeder to the existing West Fernhurst which will ultimately tie in developments along Kingsland and south of Kingsland. This is a much anticipated street extension for the community.

Avera Vinmar Warehouse

Avera Vinmar Warehouse Chambers County, TX Landev Engineers was responsible for the site development of Vinmar International’s new warehouse, storage, and distribution facility in Baytown, Texas. Design elements included over 2,000 linear feet of storm sewer and drainage conduit, including several outfall points to an existing 17.3-acre detention basin, utility infrastructure, grading, and 35,000 square yards of concrete pavement. Grading, paving, drainage, stormwater conveyance, fire protection, and erosion control for a 40-acre development for a global marketing, distribution and project development company that brings value to the world’s leading producers and users of petrochemical products through tailored business solutions. Project encompassed several months of coordination with other project disciplines including architectural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering and included review and coordination with Chambers County for the civil site, detention, and earthwork in accordance with agency requirements.
