We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technicians to join its collaborative and dynamic Site Development team in Houston, TX. You will serve a key role in RG Miller by assisting our team of engineers in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks through the design and development of site projects, including site grading, drainage, roadway and utility infrastructure, and site plan layouts. In this role, you will work under the guidance of licensed professional engineers, providing you with the necessary skills and opportunities to grow in your career.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to create high-quality drawings for commercial developments, multi-family developments, and private development projects.
- Implement drawing revisions based on feedback from clients and/or Engineers.
- Develop and/or update base drawings.
- Be a dependable team member and proficient CAD user, managing a typical set of project documents from start to finish with professional-quality results that meet company or client standards.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adhere to CAD standards and processes.
Your Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and be able to complete assigned tasks within deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
- Attentive and approachable. Able to navigate a dynamic and collaborative work environment
- Well organized and detail oriented
