Work as a team; Learn as a team; Give as a team! RG Miller | DCCM, Kirksey Architecture, MillerSurvey | DCCM, Turner Construction, ACS Flooring Group, and Tarkett Commercial understood the assignment and accepted the challenge! Teaming up in the fight against hunger, this group participated in CANstruction Houston’s 2024 Competition & Exhibition, a city-wide effort to raise awareness and provide nutritional food items that serve the Houston Food Bank.

On “Build Day”, Saturday, November 16th, volunteers from these organizations would come together to create a CAN-sculpture of “Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors,” and leave not knowing their creativity and efforts would soon earn them the Juror’s Favorite Award! With a passion for design build and a spirit of giving back, this group used a variety of 5,444+ can good items to create the rendition which displayed the message “Feed Me? NO, FEED US!”
